After reading Angie's LIst  reviews for Tile contractors, I called Armbrust Tile. Werner is the owner and installer. "Old World Values" is his calling card, and that's why I called him. I've had some bad experiences with contractors in the past, and wanted someone that does quality work, with integrity and pride. I had several Tiler's come out and meet me and give me estimates. Werner is the real deal. He showed up on time and assessed the job. He was very thorough and shared the details and considerations of the job, the materials he uses, etc. 

The work was done within the time frame he estimated and for the price he estimated. Werner did an outstanding job. He does quality work. Werner's price was a bit more than the other estimates I received, but fair and well worth it.

When I moved back to the USA, after 21 years in Italy where I had restored 3 houses with new tile floors, I was lucky enough to find Werner Armbrust to install the floor in my home. I was used to analyzing the style possibilities of the sizes, colors, finishes and installation patterns, but didn’t have a clue about the structural needs for tile in a wood-frame house. 

I bought a house in Santa Rosa that had carpet and vinyl and a very uneven sub-floor. Werner helped me to understand what type of work would need to be done to support a tile floor throughout the house and he was able to give me a reasonable and ACURATE estimate of the work, the time and the expenses involved in the project. He anticipated possible problems, such as tiling the floor under the dishwasher which had to fit under an existing kitchen counter, with accuracy and an eye to the budget and durability of the project.

Speaking as a person with a lot of experience in decorating with tile, I would definitely recommend Werner as an extremely knowledgeable, honest and reliable installer.

You're right, Buddha loves the new floor and is laying on it as I write.
